I also live in London (4 months now), from Toronto, and Chicago prior to. I am constantly told my life is perfect. ResponderEliminarI don't like "real" or "raw" anything. The only reason I follow social media is the same reason I watch T.V. To live vicariously through people I perceive to have more than me and have no problems. Its an escape, so that's why I never follow anyone with crappy camera equipment who come on here complaining and crying about their lives. I have my own life to cry about, bey.

ResponderEliminarYou come acros as "perfect" because obviously, your videos are all edited and "enhanced" by making sure you have chosen the perfect clips to put out, the best shots, the most professional angles, etc. You take pride in your work, and make sure what you are putting out is nice, and "compact". Your videos are like small movies, small works of art.where each second of "film time" counts. You have videos of yourself rolling out of bed in the morning with perfect curls, no puffy eyes, no wrinkled, messy bed linen, just pristine, fresh, white sheets, no stray items lying around in your house, not even a glass of water on the nightstand and although "cerebrally", we, your viewers know that it's all edited, still, that's the only input we- your audience- get. So, the message that it's all "enhanced" doesn't really register with us!! I'm sure we all know that you are normal people who obviously work their butts off to enjoy a nice and not at all ostentatious lifestyle. And you deserve it. You are also in the quasi-celebrity spotlight that YouTube affords you, so, yeah. ..things will be edited; you've said it yourself many times. I guess we need to see you in a ratty bathrobe, with messy hair, and smudged makeup to make it sink in, hahaha! Actually, in one of your vids where you're making Alex drink a kind of tea, cat claw or something, your nail poish is not that hot, ;)) and it was the moment where it clicked for me and I thought:"Wow! Even Mimi sometimes will have a mani that's not spot-on perfect! ". It really made you look cute, accessible and very human. I love your aura, your energy and your spunk. Your videos relax me and help me unwind at the end of a long day. I'm glad you enjoyed your time in my country, Greece, and hope you can come again to maybe visit other parts of Greece that are not as well-known as the islands, but just as pretty: Central and Northern Greece, with Delphi, and the ruins of the ancient oracle, the Meteora monasteries perched up on crazy cliffs, Thessaloniki, Metsovo, and the Zagorochoria, as well as Peloponissos, with Mycenae, and the Diros cave, as well as Monemvasia. And Alex would certainly enjoy going to visit Athos, which is a uniquely sacred place in the world, for deep meditation and getting away from it "all", accessible only to men though...sorry Mimi!
